I'm a proud mom of three boys and wife to my husband, Blake. Apart from managing my household, I'm also a double-certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach and a serial entrepreneur with a huge passion for holistic health and helping others.
Flashback to 2022, I was running a shop stocked with products from my favorite brands, but I was feeling the need to create something of my own. With a big leap of faith, I launched Candid Naturals in May 2023, first offering beauty items and now expanding into skincare and wellness.
My mission for Candid Naturals is simple. Making life a little less toxic, one product at a time, using minimal ingredients, eco-friendly packaging, and sustainable choices. I’m so excited to have you join me on this journey!
How It All Started
I started my journey toward holistic living around 14 years ago, when I first learned about the toxic effects ingredients can have. To get a better understanding of the bigger picture of holistic health, I enrolled in the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and earned my first Health Coach Certification at the end of 2012.
Around the same time, my husband was dealing with an excruciating case of eczema and after a round of allergy testing, we found out he was highly allergic to a common household preservative, methylisothiazinalone. This preservative was in nearly every cleaning product from soaps and shampoos to laundry detergent - even the "natural" brands.
This sparked somewhat of an obsession for me with product and ingredient research!
Obsession to Creation
It became a huge passion for me to find products with truly natural ingredients, that actually work. With this obsession, I was able to help my husband clear up his eczema, I've been able to naturally heal eczema on my first child, and our family of 5 has gotten through nearly every single ailment and illness using only natural remedies.
With the knowledge I've gained over the past 14 years, along with my entrepreneurial spirit, I followed my dream of opening up my own shop in the summer of 2022. As mentioned earlier, I started out with a curated collection of products from my favorite brands - some of which are still offered here online! But I bravely took the leap to create my own brand in May 2023, and Candid Naturals was born!
I am so thrilled to be here creating and curating products that I feel good about, and I hope you'll feel good about too!
